Demon Slayer : Kimetsu no Yaiba, Kimetsu no Yaiba, lit. "Blade of Demon Destruction" is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. It follows teenage Tanjiro Kamado, who strives to become a demon slayer after his family is slaughtered and his younger sister Nezuko is turned into a demon. It was serialized in Shueisha's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump from Feb 2016 to May 2020, with its chapters collected in 23 tankōbon volumes. It has been published in English by Viz Media and simulpublished by Shueisha on their Manga Plus platform.

When does season 2 of Demon Slayer release out'
Demon Slayer season 2 will be release in 2021, however, there is no specific date has been revealed. The anime's official Twitter handle announced the news in Feb 2021, with some official art featuring Uzui, who will appear prominently in the upcoming season. Aniplex also released a trailer for Demon Slayer season 2 on July 5, with English subtitles.

Though no specific premiere date has been confirmed for the second season of Demon Slayer, it’s been confirmed that it will be kicking off in 2021 and air across the fall and winter seasons.
More details about Season 2 are scheduled to be revealed on Sept. 25. While a specific date wasn't revealed, the official Demon Slayer website confirmed that the second season will air continuously across 2021's Fall anime season and into the 2022 Winter season.
The series will air on Fuji TV in Japan, in the 11:15 P.M. timeslot on Sunday nights. As reported by Oricon, Yuriko Nakamura, a manager at Fuji TV, announced that the broadcaster will be air the season without any edits to the anime's content.
The second season will adapt the fan-favorite Entertainment District Arc from the manga, which primarily takes place within a city's red-light district and features some suggestive content, however Nakamura revealed that the series has passed the usual standards-and-practices review and will be broadcast without any changes or censorship to the original story. Funimation has also announced that it will simulcast the series internationally when it debuts.

Tanjiro Kamado
Tanjiro Kamado is a fictional character and the main protagonist in Koyoharu Gotouge's manga Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Tanjiro is a teenager who goes on a quest to restore the humanity of his sister, Nezuko, who was turned into a demon after his family was killed by Muzan Kibutsuji following an attack that resulted in the death of his other relatives. After an encounter with Giyu Tomioka, a demon slayer, Tanjiro is recruited by Giyu to also become a demon slayer to help his sister turn human again and avenge his family. Besides Ufotable's Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime adaptation, Tanjiro has also appeared in a light novel that acts as a prequel to the manga.
Zenitsu Agatsuma
Zenitsu Agatsuma is one of the main protagonists of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and along with Inosuke Hashibira, a travelling companion of Tanjiro Kamado and Nezuko Kamado. He is also a Demon Slayer in the Demon Slayer Corps.
Zenitsu is a powerful Demon Slayer and a member of the Demon Slayer Corps. Although he was originally roped into joining the Corps by his mentor Jigoro Kuwajima, Zenitsu later realizes the importance of the Demon Slayer Corps.
Inosuke Hashibira
Inosuke Hashibira is one of the main protagonists of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and along with Zenitsu Agatsuma, a traveling companion of Tanjiro Kamado and Nezuko Kamado. He is also a Demon Slayer in the Demon Slayer Corps.
Inosuke is a member of the Demon Slayer Corps who makes use of the Breath of the Beast sword style, a style he pioneered. He is a travelling companion of the series' main protagonist Tanjiro Kamado. His arch-nemesis was Doma, a powerful demon and member of the Twelve Kizuki who held the position of Upper Two. Doma was the demon responsible for murdering Inosuke's mother when Inosuke was only a baby. He was able to destroy his nemesis Doma with the help of Kanao Tsuyuri during the raid on Muzan Kibutsuji's Dimensional Infinity Fortress
Nezuko Kamado
Nezuko Kamado is the deuteragonist of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. She is a demon and the younger sister of Tanjiro Kamado and one of the two remaining members of the Kamado family. Formerly a human, she was attacked and turned into a demon by Muzan Kibutsuji but
Nezuko was able to hold back her urge to devour and defend her brother after Tanjiro had tried to protect her from the Slayer. Nezuko never devoured a human and went on to accompany her brother on his quest to find a cure for her and slay Muzan Kibutsuji. Because Nezuko was injected very large amount of Muzan Kibutsuji's Demon blood, she is extraordinarily powerful for a fledging Demon.
