At Anime Expo, Mob Psycho 100 Season 3 will reveal a major update.

After a long hiatus, Mob Psycho 100 will return for its third season later this fall, and the show is gearing ready to unveil some fresh details about the upcoming season at Anime Expo! The series' third season is one of the most anticipated releases of the entire Fall 2022 anime schedule (which is impressive given how jam-packed it is with major contenders), and Crunchyroll recently confirmed that they have acquired the licence outside of Japan, allowing fans to stream the series alongside the new episodes. They're celebrating by bringing the new season to Anime Expo. 

Anime Expo will feature a special panel for Mob Psycho 100 Season 3 hosted by Warner Bros. Japan, according to Crunchyroll. The panel, which will begin on July 3rd at 6:30 p.m. PST at the JW Mariott during the convention, promises an update as well as the debut of the opening theme song. The new panel is described as follows by Crunchyroll: "Come to this kick-off panel if you can't wait for Mob Psycho 100 III to premiere in October! Discover what's in store for the upcoming season, including the world premiere of the OP theme song!!!"

While those not attending Anime Expo will be unable to join the panel, Crunchyroll has promised live social media coverage from the event. As a result, it's probable that we'll all get to see this new version! If you want to catch up on Mob Psycho 100's first two seasons before the third season premieres, Crunchyroll has the whole current run available to view. They tease the upcoming third season in the following way: 

"Shigeo Kageyama, popularly known as "Mob," is a shy young man who not only happens to be a formidable esper. Mob is determined to live a normal life and suppresses his ESP, but something dreadful occurs to him when his emotions reach a peak of 100 percent! What will Mob think when he's surrounded by phoney espers, bad spirits, and unknown organisations? What decisions is he going to make?"
